I also run Noble (continuously upgraded since 16.04), have the same file, same contents. Same error gets reported by logwatch (which was only enabled recently, so unsure if this also affects previous versions of Ubuntu).

Status in policykit-1 package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: In Ubuntu/Noble, there is this configuration file: /usr/share/polkit-1/rules.d/49-ubuntu-admin.rules Contents: polkit.addAdminRule(function(action, subject) { return ["unix-group:sudo", "unix-group:admin"]; }); I'm not sure if that group should be "unix-group:adm" instead, but right now we're seeing this in the logs: polkitd[2284]: Identity `unix-group:admin' is not valid, ignoring: No UNIX group with name admin: No such file or directory Please advise.
