> Juerg, you wrote that you are redoing some of the kernel meta packaging. What are the Apport related changes there?
I'm not sure yet if this will land in Plucky. The related changes to apport would be to remove all derivative kernel hook links since they will be provided by the kernel packages. I have no problems moving source_linux.py to linux-base. Probably best to do all this (move that file, remove symlinks from apport, provide symlinks by kernel packages) in Q, it looks to be a little tight for Plucky. For Plucky I'll just add the symlinks like I did for the other releases. What do you think? And are you OK with these debdiffs or should I create merge commits? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Touch seeded packages, which is subscribed to apport in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2018128 Title: Apport does not collect all logs when the package is HWE kernel (or any derivative) Status in apport package in Ubuntu: Triaged Status in linux package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: [ Impact ] Ubuntu 22.04 LTS with kernel 5.19.0-41-generic When filing bugs against the package 'linux' apport collects all the logs needed to the kernel But in case the user is not on stock kernel anymore and has the HWE kernel apport only imports 2 logs Dependencies.txt + ProcCpuInfoMinimal.txt and forwards the package 'linux' towards linux-signed-hwe-5.19 (in my case) would it be possible to make apport collect all the logs needed in all kernel cases?
