Title: ItemSelector renders child items eagerly Status in “ubuntu-system-settings” package in Ubuntu: Fix Released Status in “ubuntu-ui-toolkit” package in Ubuntu: Triaged Bug description: The ItemSelector in the qtdeclarative5-ubuntu-ui-toolkit-plugin package appears to render its child items eagerly, causing severe performance degradation when the size of the model is on the order of hundreds of elements. The problem is easily apparent when using "model: 1000" vs "model: 10" in an ItemSelector component.
