Hello Paul :), The bug is still here as can be seen in the screenshot I just took and attached to this comment. I just downloaded the "sample script to reproduce the bug" I attached 9 years ago and opened it with Vim on my laptop. You can see that the commands inside parentheses are white instead of yellow and that "test" in "test.txt" is yellow. Below are the informations regarding Vim version.
