Thanks for the explanation, Colin. It's not breaking anything as far as I can tell, but I'm glad to hear someone's going to get a handle on it. Something about building for Mantic and seeing the wrong version on the package sets off an alarm in my head, and now I can ignore it and go about my work. Admittedly, I can't recall if it this was always the behavior for prerelease Ubuntu versions, but I don't think so, since this stood out as amiss when I had no other reason to scrutinize the version strings on a PPA page. Can someone possessing deeper familiarity with the recipe build process look into this?
