I then went through System Settings -> Accounts -> Add Account and tried to add a Google account. All Account options (Flickr, Facebook, Google, etc.) turn gray for a second or two. The screen then flips up with an Accounts header and gives the spinning Ubuntu logo saying Loading... with a Cancel button at the bottom. After a few seconds the screen just flips down and disappears with no prompt for login info. Flickr, Facebook, Evernote, Twitter all exhibit the same behavior when trying to add. Also, Evernote is listed twice in the Add Account list.
