Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better. I can reproduce with tzdata 2022g-1ubuntu1 on the latest
Ubuntu development release by running:
TZ='Asia/Bangkok' date +%Z
It returns "+07".
** Description changed:
Since upgrade "tzdata:amd64 (2016j-0ubuntu0.16.04,
2017c-0ubuntu0.16.04)"
Output of:
- date %+Z
+ date +%Z
is:
"+07"
Expected value is:
"ICT"
Where:
"more /etc/timezone"
is:
"Asia/Bangkok"
