Title:
Fractional scaling settings lost on VM window resizing or logout
Status in mutter package in Ubuntu:
Fix Released
Bug description:
I'm running Ubuntu 22.04.1 on VirtualBox latest release for quite some
time. Recently switched from 2560x1440 to 3840x2160 monitor
resolution, which forced me to enable 125% fractional scaling. Using
default wayland server, the scaling will be reset to 100% every time I
do a logout or change the resolution, e.g. (dis-) connecting the
external monitor.
