The current thinking is that we can avoid needing to do an Ubuntu 22.04 LTS SRU by handling the wireplumber symlink change in a preinst script instead.
I'm going to close this issue so that it's no longer holding up Ubuntu metapackage updates. ** Changed in: ubuntu-meta (Ubuntu) Status: Triaged => Fix Released -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Touch seeded packages, which is subscribed to ubuntu-meta in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1978999 Title: pipewire-media-session needs to be updated before wireplumber is installed Status in ubuntu-meta package in Ubuntu: Fix Released Bug description: I am filing this temporary bug split off from LP: #1977564 to allow wireplumber and pipewire-media-session to migrate first. There is an issue with people upgrading to Ubuntu 22.10 since pipewire-media-session will need be updated before it's attempted to install wireplumber. I think the simplest fix is to backport the fix to Ubuntu 22.04 LTS which is before the metapackage changes in Ubuntu 22.10.
