Hello and thanks for this bug report. You mentioned you hit this problem
from a fresh 21.10 install, however two things that caught my attention:
- The package you are trying to install is for i386, for which there is no
installation media for Impish. I guess you added i386 as a foreign
architecture, but then your system doesn't count as a "fresh install" anymore
:-)
- libwind0-heimdal 7.7.0+dfsg-2build1 is currently in impish-proposed, so I
guess you manually enabled -proposed. This is fine (thanks for testing!), but
again your system doesn't really qualify as a "fresh install" in this case.
Could you please provide steps reproduce the problem from an actual
fresh install? If this requires adding i386 and -proposed that's fine,
however in order to verify this is actually a bug in Ubuntu and start
working on it we need a more complete reproducer.
I'm marking this report as Incomplete for now; please change it back to
New after commenting back and we'll look at it again. Thanks!
