Any chance this regression will be repatched for Ubuntu 20.04? This bug is related to the removal of type-ahead in nautilus: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nautilus/+bug/1164016 https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nautilus/+bug/1666681 The nautilus bug was never repatched in the Ubuntu repos, but a PPA was created (https://launchpad.net/~lubomir-brindza/+archive/ubuntu/nautilus-typeahead). I don't know of any such PPA for the gtk version of the bug, however.
