Xorg freeze

Bug description:
I had been using the recommended nvidia driver (nvidia-driver-460). I
recently changed to xserver-xorg-video-nouveau for the following
reasons:
1) The resolution configuration was not saved. It is, every power off
and power on the resolution restarted to low resolution.
2) The syslog file in /var/log/ constantly was filled with logs (may
be with a rate of 1 GB per hour), then, I was enforced to install
busybox-syslogd to stop the logging and continue with activities.
3) When using xserver-xorg-video-nouveau, in contrast with nvidia-
driver-460, i didn't had to reset the resolution configuration, which
was great, but now the screen is constantly freezing and i had to use
alt+SysRq+REISUB two times in a day
