I'm at the end of a Ubuntu installation on a pre-installed windows laptop. I have the same issue Ubuntu 20 hangs at "kvm: exiting hardware virtualization" on AMD laptop. It has been stuck there for half an hour or more. I didn't set the wi-fi connection during installation

Only physical reset helps in continuing the reboot test.
