1. In case the freeze was a crash please follow these instructions: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/Responses#Missing_a_crash_report_or_having_a_.crash_attachment
2. Your system log has one unusual thing in it: bluetoothd is running out of files. If that problem was system-wide then it might theoretically hang Xorg too. Please run this command to find out which process ID is using the most file descriptors: sudo grep FDSize /proc/*/status and then find out the name of the process(es) with the most file descriptors. 3. Try stopping the program 'popcorntime' in case that's using too many resources per above. ** Package changed: xorg (Ubuntu) => xorg-server (Ubuntu) ** Changed in: xorg-server (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Touch seeded packages, which is subscribed to xorg in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1879007 Title: Xorg freeze Status in xorg-server package in Ubuntu: Incomplete Bug description: When I first did a clean install of Ubuntu 20.04. The system got frequently frozen at random times 4-5 times a day and mostly every time when it was on charging and I tried to boot. I was using the nouveau display driver instead of the Nvidia driver. I did a clean install again and the same thing happened. I upgraded to Nvidia drivers with Intel GPU PRIME profile (earlier I hadn't performed key management so I guess they were not being used properly, but this time I did). The system didn't freeze for 2 days. This time too it was plugged into power and I was watching a video when it just froze. Mouse and keyboard became irresponsive(like before). I couldn't perform any magic sysreq so I had to force reboot by pressing the power key. It has been happening every 2-3 days since that. My kdump crash logs are empty. Everytime the system froze the system has been plugged into power(or I couldn't recall if the system froze otherwise). It gets very irritating. Please help.
