I would like to downgrade my KDE back to 3.5.5. But apt-get does not provide any way of doing this. Please provide a downgrade command for apt-get so that I am asked which version I want to downgrade to, providing the next available lower version as default (so I can just keep hitting Enter through the downgrade process). The session would look something like this: $ sudo apt-get downgrade kdelibs4c2a Password: The current installed version of kdelibs4c2a is: 4:3.5.6-0ubuntu1~edgy1. The next lower available version of kdelibs4c2a is: 4:3.5.5-0ubuntu3.4 from http://security.ubuntu.com edgy-security/main Would you like to downgrade?
