I just download 16.04 server, the 2016-01-11 build and installed it on
Virtual Box 5.0.14.
The problem I got was with the keyboard mapping in the password setting
dialogue. When characters is not mapped correctly login is blocked.
The preferred language was set to English, but I did set the keyboard
map as Swedish (from list) during installation.
During installation and in the user password setting dialogue,
characters are mapped correctly what I can see (enabled with 'show password').
But at login keyboard is still American English.
The character I have in the password is '*', which gives '\' with the
Swedish key marked '*'.
