Public bug reported: Right now in unity8 the top panel eats up an some of the pixels for the surface height. So say i request a surface for 540x960, then mir resizes the surface to 540x921.
This means any application that depends on a WxH will lose an X amount of H. This hurts games, as they usually depend on a set WxH. If unity8 supported a fullscreen mode where the top panel wouldn't be visable and wouldn't eat pixels from the WxH. ** Affects: unity8 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Touch seeded packages, which is subscribed to unity8 in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1382252 Title: Unity8 needs to support fullscreen surfaces.
