The PPD for this backend accepts PDF:s directly through this line: *cupsFilter: "application/pdf 0 -" However, FINAL_CONTENT_TYPE is always set to printer/thinlocal, so the backend can't possibly determine the input format by looking at the FINAL_CONTENT_TYPE.
