Bug description:
When launching the gallery-app from image #187, we see that initially
the tab names do not appear. They then take quite a significant amount
of time to appear. This is probably a regression and anyway causes a
lot of Autopilot tests to fail - I don't see a good reason to work
around the issue in the tests when the problem is user visible.
