gdm3 won't work on 17.04

Bug description:
I am not able to log into the display manager using gdm3 and
UbuntuGNOME 17.04. I had to install lightdm reconfigure it with dpkg-
reconfigure gdm3 and do it again after getting the message that I need
to --configure it, which resolved in an error. than I had to sudo
service lightdm start and was able to login. weston also won't let me
log in. I am using an Nvidia 1050TI which I changed when running this
system. Before using the 1050TI I was using a GT210. The Error
appeared after changing the cards I think. I am using the 375.26
driver from http://ppa.launchpad.net/graphics-drivers/ppa/ubuntu
