Public bug reported: I was running Zesty/17.04. I upgraded to Artful/17.10 over SSH using upgrade-manager. Priot to upgrade everything worked fine using DHCP. After reboot name resolution broke. I understand Systemd is now the resolver.
A lot of people are suffering https://askubuntu.com/questions/966870 /dns-not-working-after-upgrade-17-04-to-17-10 . It looks like a mix of Network Manager problems and Systemd problems.
