If you want ibus 1.5.11, please upgrade to Ubuntu 16.04 LTS. ibus 1.5.11 looks to big too big of an upgrade to backport to 14.04 LTS to comply with the Stable Release Update guidelines.

Version 1.5.5 distributed with Trusty is quite old and causes several problems to the users. Upgrading the package should help. It has some dependencies, and I'm not sure if they wouldn't need an update, too.
