Title: kmod should permit use of compressed modules Status in kmod package in Ubuntu: Triaged Status in kmod package in Debian: New Bug description: kmod should permit use of compressed modules. This enables images that boot from RAM to be much smaller. In essence this requires only changing a build option. Uncompressed modules are still supported.
