Public bug reported: I'm using Ubuntu 17.10 dev with libgtk-3-0 3.22.19-0ubuntu1 and initially this issue was reported at https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=764668 . If the GTKFileChooser gets opened and something is typed that causes a mismatch the first file gets deselected but instead it gets now a focus (which it hadn't before) which might be a bug.
