Public bug reported: On 17.10 there is a 3 minute pause during boot when network manager is waiting to get online (as a dependency for lxd.service) - as this is a laptop that's only using wifi, without system connections, it'll never get online during boot process. It's a regression from 17.04 where boot process was robust.
