System: Ubuntu 12.04 LTS with GNOME Classic (No effects) which uses
Metacity instead of Compiz
The active and the hovered windows in the window list have light-
colored borders unter Ambiance. Compare the two attached screenshots.
There are no light-colored borders when Compiz is used (GNOME Classic
with effects), but there are light-colored borders when Metacity is
used (GNOME Classic without effects).
