Hot plugging works perfectly in Mir (demo servers). However Unity8 has
its own policies and I know for a fact they're not implemented yet :)

Bug description:
Story: I connected my hdmi monitor with unity8 running but all I got
is a black screen in the external display, I can still use the laptop
though.
Environment: unity8-deb on zesty
STEPS:
1. Log in unity8
2. Connect external display
Current result: external display is black
Expected result: external display shows desktop
