works after restart, probably something broke along the way but
restarting seems to fix it
changing to incomplete since i'm not sure how to trigger this

apps launched from the launcher menu doesn't seem to work
at least on my pc (ubuntu 17.04 Unity8 + silo 2626)
right click on some random app from the launcher, click on the apps name to
launch
does nothing here
