This page has information about what to do:
$ mkdir ~/unity8
$ sudo apt-get install bzr
$ bzr branch lp:unity8 ~/unity8/trunk
$ cd ~/unity8/trunk
I installed the cmake packages, becase they was not installed.
I need to install dependencies, so I run the recommended command:
$ ./build --setup
Which runs a sudo apt-get update and tries to install some packages, but
apt-get writes (in danish text, my english translation follows):
Bemærk, vælger »qtdeclarative5-unity-notifications-plugin« fremfor
»unity-notifications-impl«
E: Kunne ikke lokalisere pakken pay-service
E: Kunne ikke lokalisere pakken qml-module-qtquick-xmllistmodel
which roughly translates to:
Note, selects »qtdeclarative5-unity-notifications-plugin« instead of
»unity-notifications-impl«
E: Could not find the pay-service package
E: Could not find the qml-module-qtquick-xmllistmodel package
