Title: Unpinned icons not removed from Launcher when app closes Status in unity8 package in Ubuntu: Fix Released Bug description: When an app is opened, it's icon is added to the Launcher as would be expected. However, if you close the app without pinning it's icon to the Launcher, the icon remains, contrary to how it works on the Desktop.
