That said, Mir also needs to provide an API for relative movement of
child windows in this case (already possible with specs??). Because the
gesture started in the app window it shouldn't be a matter of self-
moving the toolbar (bug 1420334), but a case of the main app window
directing relative movement of its toolbar satellite window. Because the
drag started in the main app window, all input events for the duration
of the drag go to that app window even though that's not the window
being moved.

  launch kmines without Xmir, right click on the toolbar, unlock, then
  try to drag it outside the window, it just sticks to the border but
  you cant't drag it farther away.see screenshot2
