Seems this deb ships Qt of its own:
lib path = '/opt/Synology/CloudStation/lib/plugins'
So that's likely missing Mir support → this app needs to be launched
with Xmir, but more than that it needs to unset QT_QPA_PLATFORM (or set
it to xcb).

Bug description:
synology cloud client is a tool to share and transparently synchronize
files between a desktop machine and a Synology NAS.
The client is made of a daemon controlled from an indicator. It
doesn't start under unity8.
The following message is displayed on the terminal:
