I think it is now just a matter of releasing the update and/or the config change:

I'm not sure what's changed, has the HandleLidSwitch default in logind changed? Also, any chance of fixing the "Power" setting so it correctly handles updating logind? I had to update /etc/systemd/logind.conf and add "HandleLidSwitch=ignore".
