What happens when using a StarTech device (Product ID: USB3SDOCKDD) with
either the DisplayLink driver from StarTech's website (1.1.62), or the
latest from DisplayLink's website (1.2.65), is when I attach the USB 3.0
cord to the USB 3.0 port on my laptop for the first time after a reboot,
open arandr, open the attached StarTech.sh file, and click Apply, the
Dell monitor on the left is the primary and the laptop display is the
secondary on the right.

However, if I disconnect the USB cord, then reconnect, and then re-apply the 
file, I get a pop up noting:
