Title:
  choppy/skipping login sounds upon Karmic boot

Status in libcanberra package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  The following command that is under "Startup Applications" creates a 
choppy/skipping login sound.
  canberra-gtk-play --id="desktop-login" --description="GNOME Login"

  Sound plays normally via other applications after initial login.
