I am using English and Czech layouts, both are missing this degree ° key.
Also, Stuart Langridge suggested introducing a compose key to the ubuntu
keyboard and one other person I talked to liked the idea as well. So maybe this
would be a good way to make the keyboard more feature-rich.

Title:
Please add degree to the list of special charaters

Status in ubuntu-keyboard package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
  Hi,
I am constantly missing degree (°) character on my Ubuntu Phone which means
that I am unable to write stuff like "It seems it will be almost freezing at
night, Google says it should only be 4°C early in the morning".
From time to time I have the urge to complain about the weather and then I
would like to send stuff like this via Telegram to some people just as I did
when I was still using Android. So could this bee please added to the Ubuntu
keyboard?

  Thank you very much
