@Olivier doesn't android use wpa_supplicant too? Personally I have connectivity issues on my older android devices at home. This is the same environment where I know I get these spam-messages in the syslog. Secondly, I also have a dual wireless setup which comes with many modern routers, as you describe. I can do some testing on android to see if it is related to the solution in this thread. Would clear some things up.

But it's spamming the syslog, making it very difficult to find any other thing there, and it's generating constant writes to disk, and an unnecessarily large syslog file.
