Thanks for your report. It's not a docs issue, though.
To help debug this, can you please create a new user for test purposes,
disable screenlocking, and let us know if the problem is present also
for that user.

Bug description:
I recently upgraded my Ubuntu to the latest version:
Description: Ubuntu 16.04.1 LTS
Release: 16.04
When I log in and then let the screen be turned off by inactivity (currently
set for 5 minutes WITHOUT screenlock) I am unable to resume the session, that
is typing on the keyboard or moving the
mouse does not return my login to an active session.
