Public bug reported: Dear all,
I noticed a small inconsistency on my Thinkpad X230 which has a hardware connection switch to disable my Wi-Fi and my Bluetooth connections. Once switched, the Bluetooth indicator icon disappears but the Wi-Fi one remains visible. This is also demonstrated in this screencast: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DNpK3LY0xxY What is the logic behind this behaviour? Why does the Bluetooth one disappear but the Wi-Fi one not? Thankfully, ~Robert ** Affects: network-manager (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Summary changed: - Hardware Connection Switch only disable Bluetooth indicator but not Wi-Fi indicator + Hardware Connection Switch only disables Bluetooth indicator but not Wi-Fi indicator -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Touch seeded packages, which is subscribed to network-manager in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1596338 Title: Hardware Connection Switch only disables Bluetooth indicator but not Wi-Fi indicator Status in network-manager package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: Dear all, I noticed a small inconsistency on my Thinkpad X230 which has a hardware connection switch to disable my Wi-Fi and my Bluetooth connections.
