Please confirm that your BIOS battery is not the problem. This is a typical BIOS battery issue after power off or sometimes after reboot, the system's time may be incorrect.
The EASIEST way, is to replace the CMOS battery, which is just about $2USD. If the clock problem is no longer an issue, it was not a problem with the software. To test your system to confirm a CMOS battery problem Go into BIOS and set the time (not through the operating systems). Save your BIOS settings and reboot. Allow the OS to load, then do a clean shut down. Remove power for a few minutes, then re-apply power and go into BIOS again..........If the time is not correct, it is likely a battery issue.
