Device: BQ Aquaris E4.5
OS version: rc-proposed r309
Storage: 2.4 GB free, pictures occupying 452 MB and videos 131 MB
Steps:
1. Open the Gallery app
2. Wait for picture thumbnails to display
3. Latest dates are showing, but no thumbnails
4. App totally unresponsive for several minutes
