The attached changes to the qml file fixes this issue, as well as bug #1494514 and bug #1367294 (which introduces a small string change)

Lock when idle = Never Brightness = 100% (manual, not auto) And still the screen dims if I haven't touched it in a minute or so. This bug was reported in bug 1437510 and bug 1476372 both marked as fixed. But as far as I know this still happens on all Ubuntu Touch versions.
