Test case:
Go sudo apt-get autoremove, check status.
Then install via build-dep, ex., sudo apt-get build-dep nautilus
Recheck autoremove status, there will be numerous new additions.
Ex. here, autoremove came up clean, then after the above on nautilus -
$ sudo apt-get autoremove
[sudo] password for doug:
