The fix could to change line echo "DBUS_SESSION_BUS_ADDRESS=${DBUS_SESSION_BUS_ADDRESS}" >$HOME/.cache/upstart/dbus-session into echo "DBUS_SESSION_BUS_ADDRESS=${DBUS_SESSION_BUS_ADDRESS}" >${XDG_CACHE_HOME:-$HOME/.cache}/upstart/dbus-session I tested it and it works for me...
