I actually did some more tests.
While paired with the Car unit, everything is fine (Note that I pair the phone
Handsfree and audio capability). When I power off the car unit and didn't
previously disable the pairing manually (Means the phone thinks it is still
paired), that behavior starts.
All text-fields will return repetitive 1 until the text-field size is reached
(Probably).
The car Device is a Alpine INE-W990BT
(http://www.alpine.co.uk/p/Products/navigation-systems6/ine-w990bt).
I have not yet tested disabling manually the Bluetooth from the phone while
connected to the car unit. Will do that (but can't garantee it will be this
week though -> On travel).

Title:
virtual keyboard inserts endless "1" in text field

Status in Canonical System Image:
  Incomplete
Status in bluez package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
Ubuntu Touch OTA 9 on BQ Aquarie E4.5
When the phone runs for a while - as soon as a text-field is selected and the
virtual keyboard shows up, it is automatically filled with 1 (number 1). No
possibility to interrupt the process. All applications using the virtual
keyboard are affected.
By example the dial-pad is not affected but browser, search button etc.
everything gets filled with 1.

Only fix so far is to reboot the phone.
Cause yet unknown, and no direct way identified that triggers this behavior.
  Still searching.
