I think this is similar to the issue I am having. Dialer-app generally unresponsive. Can't hang up calls, can't activate loud speaker during call, sluggishness when pressing number pad icon during call etc.

Seemed busted / not hooked up to the current call. I then tried switching to a different app and using the green indicator to go back to the call. This worked! So maybe it's just when jumping to call when already inside the dialer app?
