Title:
Discuss + upstream QML cache patch

Status in qtdeclarative-opensource-src package in Ubuntu:
  Won't Fix

Bug description:
As mentioned in bug #1418060, we should discuss + upstream the QML
cache patch and how it fits into upstream's plan. "ContributingToQt"
wiki page describes in summary how to get register and get familiar
  with http://codereview.qt-project.org/

The deadline for this task being done is in around June/July when Qt
5.6 will go into feature freeze.
