Printer: HP OfficeJet Pro K5300 via network, CUPS, physically connected to Ubuntu server 8.04. Problem: The first print job prints fine. The second print job does not print at all. Kubuntu's "Document Print Status" shows it as processing indefinitely. If the second print job is cancelled using the Document Print screen, the third print job prints okay but the fourth hangs, it can be cancelled to enable printing the fifth job and the pattern repeats. A machine with an older Kubuntu install does not have the problem. One curious symptom is that the Document Print Status screen shows the printer as being "null" for both successful and non-successful print jobs.
