Amr Ibrahim, fullscreen is known not to work in trusty, and it won’t be fixed there (it would require backporting too many changes). It is implemented in the development release however, Utopic, to be released as Ubuntu 14.10 in October.

These artifacts are on fullscreen only. If the webbrowser-app is shipping as the default webapp container, this issue should be fixed prior to release. I'm happy to help trouble shoot with bug reports if someone wants to have a go fixing this. I am on an XPS 13 Ultrabook.
