@taiebot65 I don't think this is related to bug #1462664. This is specifically related to the number of processes watching individual network-manager access point objects, and the fact that these processes leak match rules, so they continue to add match rules to dbus for new access points, but never cleanup the old rules for access points that disappear. Also, per an earlier comment, as a vivid fix related to the ubuntu-software-center relaxed the per process dbus match limits to 5000 ( from 512 ), when all of these processes max out, the total is something like 40k rules that DBus has to match for every incoming message on the bus.

HOW TO REPRODUCE: 1) Move to a place where many wifi hotspots are available 2) Connect the device via USB and run "phablet-shell" and then "dbus-monitor" 3) Use the device while keeping an eye on dbus-monitor output To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/canonical-devices-system-image/+bug/1480877/+subscriptions -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~touch-packages Post to : touch-packages@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~touch-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
